CC Meeting Room

Test your knowledge of some of our favorite books!

Children and teens (ages 8-14/grades 3-8) are invited to a friendly competition!  See how much you remember from some of our staff's favorite books.

While walk-in participants are welcome, we ask that you please register (online or by phone) for this program.  If you wish to be on the same team as someone else, please register together using the blue "add more people" button at the top right of the registration page.  All registrants should be youth (ages 8-14).  When possible, we will offer two competition groups: elementary (grades 3-5) and middle school (grades 6-8).  Any teams containing at least one member in grades 6-8 will be considered a middle school team by default.

We typically play 3-4 rounds, so latecomers will have a chance to play!

Questions will be read aloud.  Points will be awarded on the basis of both correctness and speed.

All questions for our fall programs will be based upon the following book list:

About the branch

The Central City Library is our branch library that allows us to serve a larger portion of our community. The building includes a circulating collection of books, movies and more; public computer access and Wi-Fi; a large meeting room; and hosts multiple public events and activities throughout the year. A book drop is located at both front and back of the building, allowing 24/7 access to return borrowed materials.
As part of a single library system, materials can also be transferred freely between the main and branch libraries for patrons’ convenience.
