Now Accepting Teen Advisory Council Applications

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to apply for Teen Advisory Council membership

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Teen Advisory Council (TAC) for Muhlenberg County Public Libraries!  As a TAC member, you will provide invaluable information and guidance to our programming staff about how to best serve our teen library patrons.  You will also be one of the first people we contact when we need volunteers for special events.

TAC members are expected to attend monthly meetings.  Service hours will be awarded (where applicable) for meeting attendance as well as time spent planning and conducting programs.  TAC members are expected to abide by the library's Acceptable Behavior Policies.  Teens in 6th through 12th grade who live or attend school within Muhlenberg County are eligible to apply for 2026-2027 TAC membership.

For July through December of 2026, our monthly meetings will take place on the first Monday of each month at 4 p.m.  We will set the location of these meetings (Harbin Memorial Library or Central City Public Library) based upon the preference of membership and communicate this decision at a later date.  Each meeting lasts approximately one hour.
